Our opal gallery includes at various times jewelry, fossils of Opal, and a variety of fine Opal carvings. The fossil shells and belemnites are from Coober Pedy in Australia. Around 100 million years ago these were at the bottom of an ancient sea in the area, and Precious Opal deposited in their shells later.
